What is the course about?

Do you need to get your organisation’s line-managers, team leaders, and supervisors better equipped to manage the health and safety risks of their activities?

Do you need help persuading them of the value of managing more safely, both to the organisation and to themselves?

Do you need a classroom course and a trainer who will support your attempts to:

  • Influence your managers’ behaviours for the better.
  • Improve your health and safety culture.
  • Help your managers take ownership of the health and safety impact of their day to day decisions?

If so, the East Riding College IOSH Managing Safely classroom course is for you!

The course is designed as an introduction to health and safety in the workplace for managers. It concentrates on training the manager to apply sound management principles to health and safety issues as part of the overall management strategy.

If you only have one person, or just a small number of people who require training, we hold regular sessions at our St James Centre in Hull, just off the A63. Ample parking is available, and we are a short walk from the train station.

For larger groups of 5 or more staff, consider a group booking for which discounts are available and alternative dates can be arranged to suit you. We can deliver the training at your premises nationwide if that is your preference
