Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship – Sustainability and efficiency has always been a high priority in businesses however with the need for less waste and more sustainable use of resources we have developed an apprenticeship which looks at lean techniques to improve the processes and efficiency of general workers and their understanding of their responsibilities on these agendas.

Fenestration Installer Apprenticeships – We have taken advantage of some of the new apprenticeship options available can now offer window fitting companies a specific apprenticeship route for new and existing staff  – a pathway to get formally trained and certified.

Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship – Working with construction companies we have developed an apprenticeship aimed at site supervision and management to meet growing needs in the region, apprentices will have a range of onsite practice and theory through a HNC in Construction and the Built Environment, to become competent managers of construction sites.

Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship – Working with the University of Hull Teaching Hospital we have started running an apprenticeship in teaching and learning, this programme is available for all companies that have a need to develop their own in-house trainers and teachers to help drive forward any inhouse training and development activities.  It has regular start points throughout the year.

Junior Estate Agent Apprenticeship – Working with local companies we have developed (for September 2022) an apprenticeship to enable people to come into the sector of estate agency, with an ever-growing market of housing sales and developments, local companies are seeing growth and need to provide new routes to train in their businesses.

Funeral Team Member Apprenticeships – Taking advantage of the new types of apprenticeships, we have developed an apprenticeship that is linked to supporting companies who deal with the transition of loved ones on their final journeys. It is our only constant in life, and we are please to offer training and support for people to undertake this sensitive work.

Wellbeing and Holistic Therapist Apprenticeship – The College already has a well developed and mature beauty therapy provision and recognising that there is a greater need for development in the areas of wellbeing and holistic therapies, we have invested in the development of our team and the programme – to be able to offer this apprenticeship from September 2022. Its aimed at health care practitioners and other professionals whose remit is to focus less on medical options and to use other techniques to help heal the body and mind.
